A Future Manual
Friday 2 December 2016, 3pm - 9pm
A3 presents a touring workshop from A Future Manual to help you get ready for the world that’s coming our way.
message from Tom James
Are you worried about the future? Is our current political, economic and ecological meltdown really getting to you? Do you get a strange feeling of dread each time you reach for a copy of the Metro on the floor of the bus?
If the answer to any of these questions is YES, don’t just sit there on twitter, feeling impotent and sad. Start preparing today!
On Friday 2nd December, A Future Manual will be holding a Rabbit Catching and Fire Starting workshop at A3 Project Space, Digbeth, to help you get ready for the world that’s coming our way.
You’ll learn how to turn a computer cable into a rabbit snare* to feed yourself and your family; then how to start a fire with nothing more than flint and steel. After the workshop, we’ll gather around the bonfire, eat jacket potatoes and beans, talk about why we're doing this**, and feel just a little bit better about tomorrow.
4pm: Rabbit Catching
6pm - 9ish: Fire Making and Bonfire
Drop in at any point.
Refreshments: jacket potatoes and drinks available.
Cost: £Donations Welcome. Euros Gladly Accepted.
A Future Manual is a DIY guide to surviving and thriving in the bitter, barren world we’re creating for our children. You can find more information here.
Hope to see you there.

* NOTE: NO ANIMALS WILL BE HURT IN THE MAKING OF THIS WORKSHOP. I’LL BE USING AN ELECTRONIC RABBIT THAT I GOT OFF AMAZON.
** I’M NOT EVEN SURE THIS FUTURE IS GOING TO HAPPEN, BUT IT SEEMS LIKE IT, DOESN’T IT? IT CERTAINLY DOES TO ME.
